Professional Experience
After completing her medical degree in Italy, Dr Corciova started her Psychiatry core training in North East London. She gained experience working with a variety of people and pathologies in hospitals such as the Royal London Hospital. At the same time, she began and completed her Ericksonian Psychotherapy degree in Rome. She then spent a year working as a Locum in Liaison at Kings College and other acute settings with adolescents and young adults in West London.
Once she completed her Psychiatry training in 2021, she gained further experience in Eating Disorders at the Royal Free Hospital Foundation Trust, completing a one year course in Psychotherapy approaches to Eating Disorders. She also trained in FT-AN (Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa) at the Maudsley. During her whole training she has also been involved in teaching and completed a one-year teaching Fellowship with Imperial College.
Personal Profile
Outside of work, Dr Suzana Corciova enjoys practicing sports, in particular aerial hoop, trapeze and cycling, as well as reading, travelling and meditation.
