James is a Therapist, Coach and Wellbeing consultant and specialises in Addiction, eating disorders and compulsive behaviours. Before re training at Richmond College and the National Centre for Eating Disorders James spent 17 years working in the event & hospitality industry. James is familiar with 12 step philosophy and draws on his personal and professional experience to support his clients and the organisations he works with. He is a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, an advanced member of Addiction Professionals registration body and The International Association Of Eating Disorders Professionals as well as other professional bodies. James works collaboratively with his clients helping them to look after their mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health to heal, find meaning and thrive in life.
I was referred by a friend of mine, whose daughter was treated there and who similarly, was at the ‘end of the road’. From the initial contact, through the entire process, everything was different. They inspired a new confidence and the way the staff treated my son, and, uniquely, how they treated me, was incredible. He is now making great progress and I cannot express my gratitude enough.
