Hypnotherapist and EMDR Therapist
Alison Ball is an experienced integrative psychotherapist with a specialist focus on clinical hypnotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She offers a thoughtful, multi-modal approach tailored to individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and challenges rooted in early or relational experiences.
Combining hypnotherapy and EMDR, Alison supports individuals seeking behavioural and emotional change – from phobia resolution to substance use concerns and habit change, including smoking cessation. Her approach is grounded in compassion and clinical insight, helping individuals shift long-standing patterns and access a renewed sense of agency.
Alison also brings significant experience in education and youth mental health, having worked extensively with young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as those with autism spectrum conditions (ASD) and ADHD.
She is an approved therapist with Anxiety UK and Wellbeing in the Arts, and a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Known for her empathetic, client-centred practice, Alison integrates psychological depth with therapeutic pragmatism to support meaningful, lasting change.
