Robert Green
Psychotherapist
Robert Green is a BACP-accredited Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in private practice, offering a deeply relational and compassionate approach to long-term healing. His background in Psychodynamic and Group Analytical Psychotherapy is grounded in a specialist interest in Attachment Theory and the enduring impact of early relationships on adult wellbeing.
Prior to training as a therapist in the late 1990s, Robert ran a successful retail business. His personal and professional journey is shaped by lived experience: he has maintained abstinence since 1987 following a decade of active addiction, and his work is informed by a deep understanding of recovery, resilience, and the human capacity for change.
Raised in South London, Robert brings warmth, honesty, and nuance to his work with individuals navigating complex emotional histories. He has maintained a private practice in Chelsea for nearly three decades and has also contributed to charitable organisations supporting individuals facing addiction and relational trauma.
Robert remains committed to the transformative power of psychotherapy—believing that healing is possible at any stage, when the right relational environment is created.
